The "Meeting of Worlds" project is an intercontinental network aimed at addressing global problems by involving competent professionals, as well as political, economic, religious, and civil actors. The goal is to explore the causes of these problems and develop alternative solutions.

On Sunday, our members Csaba Szeremley and Cecilia Khofi distributed food to large families in need and homeless people in Budapest, in cooperation with the Helping Angels Foundation and the Heti Betevő Association. With the support of Kiosk Restaurant, they prepared and handed out more than 300 portions of food and coconut balls in District VII.

On November 20, we celebrate World Children's Day. On this day in 1989, the United Nations adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child, declaring that every child on Earth has the right to safety, clean drinking water, food, medical care, and a unique, unrepeatable childhood.

For the 18th time, Hungarian doctors are traveling to Malawi under the coordination of the African Hungarian Union (AHU) – once again led by our member, Csaba Szeremley. Life was buzzing at the Planetrise Civil Space during the "LeszFeszt" in Kisvárda. Our "Life Goals Board" was a great success, where many wrote down their wishes and goals. Just as popular was the LeszFeszt Snapshot Wall, where visitors could relive some of the most memorable moments from previous years of the festival.

The Nyitnikék Kindergarten in Kisvárda organizes the so-called Nyitnikék Week every year, offering colorful programs for children each day. Csaba helped document the donation efforts of Gift of the Givers, Fargo company, and the Malawi Relief Fund UK. Around 20 km from Blantyre, more than 350 families received 25 kg of food each for Ramadan, including rice, soy, maize flour, sugar, and oil.

On May 18, our association, in cooperation with the Teichmann Vilmos Primary School from Kisvárda, attended a meeting in Budapest, invited by the Jane Goodall Institute. Jane Goodall, one of the world's most renowned primate researchers, was present at the event.

On Sunday, May 13, we opened our "Get to Know the World!" photo exhibition in the National Memorial Park in Nagygéc. The event was attended by Representative Sándor Kovács, and the opening ceremony included a service led by Kont Szalay, the archpriest, at the Church of Preservation.

Our association participated in the closing day of the "Create a Community!" program organized by FIVEK - Youth for the City Association Kisvárda over the weekend. The next stop of our "Get to Know the World!" photo exhibition is Záhony. At the opening ceremony, László Helmeczi, Mayor of Záhony, delivered a welcome speech, and the exhibition was officially opened by our Association's President, Dr. Gergő Péter Juhász.

For the fourth time, we opened our "Get to Know the World!" photo exhibition – this time in the town of Mátészalka. As mentioned in our previous articles, a unique aspect of this exhibition is that the photos, which depict everyday life in Malawi, were taken by orphaned African children.

This weekend marked the next stop of our "Get to Know the World!" travelling exhibition. We had the opportunity to present our photo exhibition in Budapest at the Africa Expo, organised by the Kultúrafrika Foundation, as part of the national Travel Exhibition.

Toroskáposzta was prepared "Planetrise style" at the "Together Again with You" Szatmár Traditional Pig Slaughter Festival in Géberjén. On the evening of Friday, 23 February, several members of our Association took part in a dinner in Géberjén, marking the opening of a culinary event.

Our association's guest, Miss Malawi, Cecilia Khofi, the beauty queen of Malawi in Africa, gave several presentations this week as part of our "Discover the World!" project in some primary and secondary schools in our county (Kisvárda, Győrtelek, Fehérgyarmat, Mátészalka, Géberjén), which you can read more about in our previous article.

Several members of our Association have spent varying lengths of time in different African countries – some doing volunteer work, others conducting research, and some coordinating missions or various projects.
