Jane Goodall Institute: Composting Training

26/06/2022

In the fall of 2020, the Jane Goodall Institute held a composting training, focusing on soil fertility and its relationship with agricultural yields, best farming practices, pest and disease management, the benefits of riparian forests, as well as the process of creating and applying compost.

Over three days, 165 Tanzanian farmers were trained in three experimental villages, where the farmers worked together to create a functional compost heap.
