Csaba Szeremley: Medical Mission Coordinator Returns to Malawi

29/10/2019

Recently, the medical mission is taking place in Malawi, with the Helping Angels Foundation joining the mission under the name "Malawi Angels."

"With the Malawi Angels, we visited the home of a local man named Yohanne, who takes in street children from Blantyre. During the day, there are 25-30 children here, four of whom stay overnight. Yohanne clothes them and covers the costs related to their education. The kids call him 'father.' His goal is to bring as many children off the streets as possible, giving them the opportunity to build a better future.

In Malawi, a growing problem is that many children live on the streets and form gangs. The police sometimes detain them for days, but there is no specific government program dedicated to their care.

During the visit, Hlatky-Schlichter Hubert, the founder of the Helping Angels Foundation, offered their help with the renovation of the house, as evidenced by the photos." – Csaba
