There is a community in Africa where people live in such extreme poverty that their daily challenges include access to clean drinking water and securing enough food to survive. In this environment, the people do not know what tomorrow will bring… who will live to see it and who won't.

This community is the Nkwazi community, where a large portion of the population is made up of the Bemba ethnic group, although there are also people from other groups such as the Kaonda, Lunda, Nyanja, and Tonga.

Despite the daily hardships, these people can genuinely smile from the heart, living each moment with the awareness that they do not know what tomorrow will bring. They know how to find joy in the smallest things in life.

In this community, every child learns from a young age that the "now" is what matters. The present moment is neither yesterday's nor tomorrow's—it belongs to the present. This is a lesson that nourishes the soul and brings us closer to understanding the question, "What is the meaning of life?"

The small wonders and pleasures of life are constantly visible and perceptible. They are here, in front of us, behind us, above us, and below us. Everywhere. These are the things that give life meaning, and they are none other than the present moment.

The moment is the only thing in the world over which we have control at any given time. We can shape the moment by how we choose to accept and embrace the positive energy, joy, and happiness flowing from it—both in our soul and our body.

"Learn to perceive the world around you, so you can experience every moment of it."

This is what we have learned from the children of the Nkwazi community over the past few weeks.
