Longu Ganzaj, who always has a kind word for everyone. We've known Longu since we arrived in Zambia, as every time we're in the area where he works, he warmly greets us and always has a kind word to say, just like he does with everyone else. However, it wasn't until last week that we had a deeper conversation with him.

In the small plot of land shown in the picture, Longu spends several hours a day gardening. It doesn't matter if it rains, if it's windy, or if the sun is scorching – the most important thing is that the work gets done! This isn't something his employer demands of him, but rather something he demands of himself, and strictly so!

Longu really enjoys what he does, even though he works for just enough to put bread on the table. He seems to follow a philosophy of "get the work done, then you can eat."

Our friend Longu is extremely knowledgeable about various things in the world, be it culture, geography, languages, history, politics, or football – and, according to him, he's unbeatable when it comes to the latter, which he absolutely loves.

But the most important thing is that he ALWAYS has a kind word for EVERY person. He respects everyone equally and greets those who pass by with his genuine Longu smile, as seen in the photo.
