Ilona Reports Again from Malawi
"Greetings from Malawi once again!
I haven't been bored over the past few days in Malawi. I now have 11 students, whom I teach in two shifts every day, both in the morning and in the afternoon. With my photography students, we explored the local area, and during our trips, we also visited the boys' home villages. The excursions were filled with joy, partly because the children in the village spend their days with endless cheerfulness.
They are always giggling, running around, and laughing loudly.
Life is also bustling at the Jacaranda School. Besides the photography club – where the young people use the Nikon Coolpix cameras donated by our Association – I spend a lot of time at the school, where I also have the chance to meet other students and even preschoolers. As you can see in the photos, they are crazy about the camera. If it were up to them, I'd still be taking pictures of them right now.
I'll be back with more updates soon!"
