Planetrise Association: "LeszFeszt" Civil Square Returns in 2018

10/07/2018

Life was buzzing at the Planetrise Civil Space during the "LeszFeszt" in Kisvárda. Our "Life Goals Board" was a great success, where many wrote down their wishes and goals. Just as popular was the LeszFeszt Snapshot Wall, where visitors could relive some of the most memorable moments from previous years of the festival.

Numerous civil organizations were present in the Civil Space, including the Police, and those wishing to freshen up were welcomed by makeup artists and hairdressers.

We would like to thank everyone who participated for making the Planetrise Civil Space even more vibrant with their programs.

Participating Civil Organizations:

  • Talentum Foundation Nyíregyháza (drug prevention lectures and support for people with addictions)

  • Van Esély Public Benefit Association (drug prevention support)

  • FIVEK – Youth for the City Association Kisvárda

  • Rotary Club Kisvárda

  • SZSZBMFÜ Nonprofit Ltd. (Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Regional Development and Environmental Management Agency Nonprofit Ltd.)

  • NYIFE (Nyírség Youth Association)

  • Csapat Építész (Community building project for Kisvárda and surrounding areas)

Hight School at LeszFeszt

Stars of Középsuli.hu, Bende and Dominik, gave a presentation on internet safety at the festival on Friday and handed out gifts to their fans. Despite the background noise of the festival, the teen series actors were very well received by the children, who left with useful information.

Rotary Duck Fishing

As part of the LeszFeszt, the Rotary Club organized a Duck Fishing event in which our Association participated as co-organizer. The proceeds will go towards the creation of a "Touchable-Invisible" relief map, making the city's landmark buildings accessible to the blind and visually impaired. Donors also had a chance to win various prizes in a raffle, including a bicycle or a family weekend stay at the Nature Centrum Guesthouse.
