The mission doctors successfully completed their first week in Ethiopia

The days followed the usual routine at the hospitals, starting with morning rounds and continuing with surgeries. In the afternoons, screening tests were conducted. In the middle of the week, Ambassador Attila Kovács and Bálint Balogh, the economic attaché, visited the team. The Ambassador and Alemu Kibret, the hospital director, discussed further cooperation opportunities.

After the weekend break, the doctors were back in the operating room this morning. They assisted the local residents with surgeries on the thyroid, major salivary glands, and ear procedures. They also participated in the operation of a patient with a laryngeal cancer.

Following the surgeries, the team continued with consultations for additional treatments for patients scheduled for surgery in the coming days.
