Planetrise Association – Meeting of Worlds

10/01/2019

The "Meeting of Worlds" project is an intercontinental network aimed at addressing global problems by involving competent professionals, as well as political, economic, religious, and civil actors. The goal is to explore the causes of these problems and develop alternative solutions.

The objectives of "Meeting of Worlds":

  • Establish contact with individuals, organizations, companies, and institutional representatives who can and want to actively participate in identifying global problems, considering local perspectives as well. It is crucial to approach each topic from as many angles as possible, taking into account the viewpoints of all stakeholders.
  • After identifying the problems, initiate a mutual dialogue to develop solutions. Continuous communication among the involved parties. Establish groups to investigate specific problems. Each group must ensure the representation of the interests and perspectives of as many stakeholders as possible.
  • After proposing solutions, compare the positions of the various groups to identify contradictions, conflicts of interest, and opportunities for cooperation.

Possible outcomes of discussions and negotiations:

  • Common agreement

  • Compromise

  • "Confrontation" (the confrontation must be avoided; if unavoidable, the solution with the least loss should be chosen)

  • Develop pilot projects to test new models, focusing on viable alternatives to global challenges while thoroughly considering local values and interests.

  • Use the experiences gained from pilot projects, make necessary corrections, and propose the introduction of new technologies and systems on a wider scale, always considering the local social, cultural, economic, and environmental values and vulnerabilities.

  • Continuously inform the public about the results (contact establishment, problem identification, conflicts, steps taken to resolve conflicts, proposals, pilot projects, and experiences gained, new technologies and systemic alternatives).

    Offers to Potential Partners

To achieve our goals, the Association needs not only motivation but also other resources. Over the past decades, we have built an extensive global network in diplomacy, economics, the church, and the civil sector. We maintain good relationships with local and national media.

Thanks to these resources, we can offer the following to our partners, supporters, and sponsors:

    • Access to our existing network of contacts under certain conditions

    • Exposure through various media and advertising platforms we have access to

    • Free information about the characteristics of regions we are familiar with

    • Free participation in our project report events for major supporters, with accommodation provided if necessary.
