Shrub Planting with Students from Saint Ladislaus School

24/09/2018

On September 22, as part of the European Mobility Week, the Car-Free Day was held. In connection with this, last Friday our Association planted shrubs on the Várkert Nature Trail in Kisvárda. We were assisted by the 1.a and 5.a grade students of the Saint Ladislaus Catholic Secondary Grammar School, Vocational Secondary School, Primary School, Dormitory and Kindergarten.

We planted three types of native shrubs: cornelian cherry and black chokeberry – the fruits of which are edible and important sources of vitamins – and ninebark, which mainly decorates the environment with its red leaves.
