World Environment Day - June 5th

Since 1972, World Environment Day has been celebrated on June 5th. According to a proposal by the UN, the theme for 2020 was "Biological Diversity," a highly timely subject. The recent natural disasters such as forest fires, droughts, and severe flash floods, along with a global pandemic, emphasize the interdependence between humans and other living beings.
