Call for Applications: Zambian Child Support Project and Methodological Training
The Hungarian Volunteer League Association announces a call for applications within the Hungary Helps Volunteer Program to participate in a child support project and methodological training at the Prambs Academy in Zambia. They are looking for educators and student teachers who are dedicated to volunteer work and improving the quality of life of foreign communities, or who have experience with the primary school age group.
Program Dates: August 2021 (1 month)
Program Location: Kafue, Zambia
Organising Entity: Foundation for Africa's Future
Main Objectives of the Program:

Training teachers in teaching methodology

Holding workshops and tutoring sessions for students

Assessing emerging (mainly education-related) needs
Requirements:

Pedagogical degree or ongoing specialised training or experience with primary school-aged children (e.g., summer camp)

Minimum intermediate English proficiency (additional language skills are an advantage)
-
Health, physical, and psychological suitability
-
Necessary vaccinations
-
Participation in training
-
Age between 21 and 60 during the program

Openness to trying a more "nomadic" lifestyle

Independence
Preferred Qualifications:

Video/photo experience/affinity

Openness to the activities of the Foundation for Africa's Future

Previous experience with disadvantaged communities
