WHAT IS HAPPENING?

Recently, the medical mission is taking place in Malawi, with the Helping Angels Foundation joining the mission under the name "Malawi Angels."

On Monday, our president, Dr. Péter Gergő Juhász, gave a lecture on the initial steps to becoming an entrepreneur. The event was organized by the Foundation for Information Technology Development at the newly opened Incubator House in Kisvárda, which was opened to the public for the first time on this occasion.

Lee Durrell visited Hungary, organized by the Jane Goodall Institute, and we were invited to his lecture, as well as the opportunity to promote our Association at a separate booth. On Friday, September 20, our association organized the premiere of the short film Metaphorms and the opening of the "Autism – The World With You" exhibition at the Bagolyvár Gallery in Kisvárda.

Our Association participated in the premiere of the short film Metaphorms in Budapest on Friday. We are very proud to have been part of it and honored to have supported the creation of such an artistic work that represents such valuable ideals.

The traditional village day titled "In Pendely – Gatya – Szoknya – Szatmár!" was held in Géberjén for the fifth time. Our Association also participated in the event and during the cooking program we made oyster mushroom stew with pasta. In 2019, our Association once again organized the Planetrise Civil Space. As in previous years, numerous civil and other organizations were represented, offering a variety of programs for festival-goers. Our association in Malawi visited the state-owned hospital in District 25 of Lilongwe, the capital, but also operated by the American Baylor Foundation.

Thanks to Rizwan Omar, we had the opportunity to visit Africa's largest bamboo plantation, the Lisoka Bamboo Farm. Grant Blumrick, a South African entrepreneur, gave us an overview of the current state of bamboo cultivation in Africa and the economic opportunities available.

In recent days, we distributed food donations offered by the Helping Angels Foundation in the city of Blantyre. Altogether, we handed over more than six hundred kilograms of maize flour in three orphanages, to several hundred children in need. Once again, an AHU medical mission has been carried out in Malawi, coordinated by our member, Csaba Szeremley. This time, two ENT specialists traveled to the region: Dr. Róbert Késmárszky from Budapest and Dr. István Bartku from Nyíregyháza.

On Friday, April 5th, the Van Esély Public Benefit Association held an all-day educational-environmental awareness event at the Saint Ladislaus Catholic Secondary School, Vocational School, Primary School, Dormitory and Kindergarten.

On March 29th, Friday, our Association participated in the TeSzedd! campaign in Géberjén, organized by the Géberjén Municipality.

Last Thursday, our Association attended an extraordinary exhibition opening in Miskolc. Kálmán Gasztonyi and Máté Kamarás are both well-known figures in the art world, internationally recognised.

Last Friday, we opened the exhibition of painter Viktória Hatvany in Kisvárda, at the Bagolyvár Gallery, with the involvement and organisation of our Association.
